Building leaders in the sustainable management of contaminated land and groundwater

Affiliated Associations

The Australasian Land & Groundwater Association enjoys a working relationship with the following affiliated organisations, across Australia and New Zealand.

The Australian Hydrographers Association (AHA):

AHA is a non-profit and vendor neutral organisation.  Founded in the late 1970s AHA now has members and a growing list of associates in all Australian states and territories and overseas. AHA’s objectives are:

To encourage the development of all aspects of hydrography, particularly data collection, processing, analysis and presentation throughout Australia.

·       To contribute to the knowledge of, and encourage interest in Australia’s water resources and their management and utilisation.

·       To provide a forum for the interchange of hydrographic knowledge and ideas.

The Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme:

The Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme (CEnvP) is an industry-recognised certification scheme that recognises the ethical practice, training and experience level of environmental and social practitioners. CEnvP was established as a not-for-profit scheme in 2004, by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ).

Certification provides a greater level of assurance to government, industry and the community of the credentials and professional standing of an environmental practitioner.

CEnvP has many certification types, including Site Contamination Specialist Certification.

CEnvP works with professional associations such as ALGA, to foster CPD and to advocate for our Australian and New Zealand practitioners as leaders in environmental management.
