Webinar - PFAS 101: Introduction to Everyone’s Favourite Emerged Contaminant

Emerging Professionals Specialist Interest Group Event

Introduction to PFAS from three different industry perspectives (regulatory, consultancy, and laboratory/analysis).

PFAS is an important and popular topic in the industry, following it’s status of an emerged contaminant and the evolution of our understanding of PFAS. This webinar will provide emerging professionals throughout the industry with the fundamentals of PFAS, to enable them to better understand this contaminant and how it is currently managed from different industry sectors.

This webinar will provide a “101” on what you need to know about PFAS, covering off all bases across the industry, and aims to provide a solid foundational understanding of PFAS for those who are new to the industry or may have limited experience with this contaminant of concern. This webinar will show how PFAS is approached from a regulatory stand point, how consultants have dealt with PFAS, and the ways that lab analysis of PFAS sets it apart from other contaminants of concern.
