ON DEMAND - MBTs: Innovation that has Advanced the Practice of CSA, Management and Remediation

Site managers have a broad spectrum of molecular biological tools (MBTs) and advanced analytical techniques at their disposal to comprehensively evaluate treatment options and performance.  With the rate of advances in the analysis of DNA and in some cases the adaptation of laboratory techniques originally developed for the medical field to environmental applications, the terminology (e.g. PCR primer, TaqMan probe, stable isotope) and units of measurement (gene copies, 13C as per mill) are likely to be at least unfamiliar to many site managers and regulatory professionals.

Furthermore, while each advanced diagnostic tool can provide valuable information, selecting the most appropriate and cost-effective technology to best answer site management questions can be a confusing and daunting task.

Webinar attendees will gain a practical understanding of the application of state of the art environmental molecular diagnostics to more accurately assess in situ degradation processes and therefore more effectively manage site remediation.
