WAIKATO IN PERSON EVENT - HAIL A10: As Varied as the Produce Aisle
New Zealand boasts approximately 130,000 hectares of fertile horticultural land, strategically situated near bustling towns and vibrant cities. However, in certain regions, this land is designated as potentially contaminated due to the potential for bulk storage or the use of persistent pesticides (HAIL A10).
We invite you to join us for an engaging discussion that delves into the intricacies and challenges posed by the current HAIL A10 definition, as well as the existing categorisation of horticultural land in the Waikato Region. Moreover, we will explore opportunities for enhancing both the classification and management of this land.
In addition to the enlightening discourse, we will provide refreshments and appetizers, creating a delightful atmosphere for networking and reconnecting with local contaminated land practitioners. We warmly invite you to be a part of this event!
