ON DEMAND - Catch up on ecoforum 2021 – Featuring Three Highlight ecoforum Speakers!

This event is now available on demand!

Our Sydney Branch is revisiting ecoforum 2021 with three of the best presentations from the conference! Don’t miss the opportunity to tune in and hear these wonderful speakers – especially if you weren’t able to join us last November 2021.

We have lined up for you three of the best!

Matthew Tendam from Aurecon - presenting “Everyone cares about the Environment…until it’s time to pay for it!” Matthew will draw on 20 plus years of experience as an environmental consultant with international project work to provide an overview of how the environment is valued (or not). The talk aims to provide insights on how Aurecon is using their asset transformation strategy to create a market where natural resources are valued.

John Hunt from GHD - presenting “Remediation of the Sydney 2000 Olympics Site; A retrospective analysis of options and costs”. Through these case studies, John will explain the economics of remediation. He will develop the remediation option selection and analyse in a sustainability framework.

Claire Beattie from New South Wales Department of Education - presenting “Reputation, Risk and Communication” she will address 3 questions.

  •     How to connect with community in the spirit of true co design?
  •     How to connect and use the right channels to connect with First Nations Peoples?
  •     How to mitigate risk through true codesign and two-way communication methodologies?
