AUCKLAND - ALGA Young Professionals Forum
Australasia Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) is committed to developing the contaminated land and groundwater industry in Australasia and this includes fostering and encouraging young professionals. Alex Johnson
Senior Project Manager, Engineering Services
SLR Consulting
I have a passion for keeping people healthy and safe, after learning about annual deaths due to occupational illness I thought it would be an interesting field to work in. I didn't imagine that my experience as a trainer would ever transfer into the world of environmental consulting, but it does. I enjoy being able to work with clients to determine goals and concerns, conduct investigations, work with teams on site and provide training and coaching. I hope to be able to contribute to the decrease in the number of occupational illnesses and fatalities.
