AUCKLAND - ALGA Young Professionals Forum

AUCKLAND - ALGA Young Professionals Forum

Australasia Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) is committed to developing the contaminated land and groundwater industry in Australasia and this includes fostering and encouraging young professionals. One aspect of this is providing a supportive environment where young professionals can share and discuss interesting projects and work experiences with their peers, industry members and practice their presentation skills.

To support this, ALGA is hosting a Young Professionals Forum on the 12th of March in Auckland from 5pm to 7pm (Presentations start 5.15pm)

Price for all Students is $10.00 incl. GST.

Your ticket includes a complimentary drink and a selection of appetizers. Please note that this is not a formal dinner event.

Alex Johnson
Senior Project Manager, Engineering Services
SLR Consulting

I have a passion for keeping people healthy and safe, after learning about annual deaths due to occupational illness I thought it would be an interesting field to work in. I didn't imagine that my experience as a trainer would ever transfer into the world of environmental consulting, but it does. I enjoy being able to work with clients to determine goals and concerns, conduct investigations, work with teams on site and provide training and coaching. I hope to be able to contribute to the decrease in the number of occupational illnesses and fatalities.
