Adelaide Site Tour - Brompton Former Gasworks Site
Large-scale Remediation Project Site Tour - A unique opportunity to visit the former Brompton Gasworks site and experience large scale site remediation up close and in action.
Hear from both the site Developer and Remediation Contractor. See Emission Control Systems and Water Treatment facilities in operation. Learn about the site’s future development, remediation challenges and how they are being overcome.
Numbers are strictly limited so don’t miss out - early registration is encouraged.
Please note: The following PPE MUST be worn to attend this event:
- Long sleeved shirt
- Long pants
- Safety boots
- Hi-vis vest or shirt
Due to the high number of visitors expected PPE is not able to be supplied. A site induction will be provided prior to commencement of the site tour.
Please also note: Late Arrivals - Site gates will be closed at 4:45pm. No access to the site will be granted after this time.
Please bring your own drinking water.

Brendan Rumpf

Brendan Rumpf is an experienced senior project manager with over 20 years’ experience working in the remediation, environmental and civil industries. Brendan has worked in remediation and civil contracting both in Australia and on several international remediation projects. He specialises in the delivery of large-scale projects including more recently Orica Yarraville Site remediation, Barry Beach Marine Terminal remediation and Dow Mercury Stabilisation. Brendan has a broad range of experience with a wide range of remediation approaches.
Chris Dickson

Chris Dickson is responsible for leading the Brompton Gasworks project in South Australia. A collaborative and well-respected leader in the Australian property industry with over 14 years’ experience in strategic advisory and complex project delivery throughout Australia, New Zealand and PNG. A passionate supporter of South Australian future visions for growth and is an active committee member of several organisations across the property sector, promoting policy change and the adoption of future industry trends.
