What is an eConference?
An eConference is the same as our face-to-face conferences, just hosted online! - there are still plenary sessions, keynote speakers, panel Q&A discussions, poster sessions, as well as sponsor booths & networking opportunities. You will also be able to ask questions and interact with speakers, sponsors and attendees. Being an eConference means that participants can attend from the comfort of their computers wherever they are in the world.
What does registration include?

View up to 22 hours of pre-recorded presentations up to and during the live conference days.

Click here to process your registration. Click here to view the program and decide what you would like to attend (you will have the option of choosing 1, 2 or all 3 days).
What are the technical requirements needed to participate?
You just need a good internet connection, your device or computer, and a valid registration. No paid software or downloads will be required to access the conference content.
How and when do I access the pre-recorded & live presentations?
You will receive an email with a personal link and instructions on how to log in using your registration details. Once you are logged in you will have access to all the presentations you have registered for and you will be able to view all presentations (pre-recorded and live) straight from your browser. No downloads needed.
What will happen during the live conference days?
Access to the live conference days is the same as for the pre-recorded presentations (see above). There are plenary sessions on Wednesday 16th & Friday 18th between 9:20am – 10am AEST. On all the live days (14th, 16th & 18th) all other sessions will run for 1-hour. Each session consists of a 40-min opening keynote address followed by a live Q&A panel discussion by the keynote speaker and authors of the pre-recorded presentations for that session. This means that registering as early as possible is essential as it gives you more time to prepare and get those questions ready! There will also be networking opportunities, meet with the sponsors plus focused presentations over lunch breaks including Regulatory Updates in NZ, CEnvP Information and Mental Health & Resilience Skills Training.
How will I network with other attendees?
During the breaks we will be providing you with virtual roundtable discussions and one-on-one appointment systems. Information will be sent to all registrants to explain how this can be done.
How can I ask questions?
A Q&A box will sit on the right-hand side of the video presentation (live & recorded) where questions can be lodged. Any questions asked while watching pre-recorded presentations, will be collated and given to the session chair beforehand. When you submit your questions, please ensure you stipulate which speaker your question is for.
How can I make one-on-one appointments?
There will be opportunities to meet with sponsors via the virtual booth feature, book one-on-one appointments with attendees and network in the breaks. Information will be sent to all registrants to explain how this can be done.
What If I’m not available on the conference dates?
The content will be available for 30 days after the conference to registered participants. After this date we will release on demand recordings per session however the fees will be significantly higher than the conference registration so best to book now and watch later!
Will I have access to the recordings after the conference concludes even if I have attended?
Yes, all conference material will be available for 30 days after the conference.
What time zone will this be in?
The New Zealand Land & Groundwater Conference with commence on Monday 14th September 2020 at 9:30am NZST EcoForum which is held on Wednesday 16th & Friday 18th starts at 9:00am AEST
If you are unable to attend all or any of these days, all the live discussion sessions will be recorded and available online for registrants for 30 days after the conference so you can catch up on what you missed. Also remember that even if your session is in the middle of the night, at least you won’t have to deal with jet-lag or airplane food at either end of the conference.
Can registrations be shared?
Unfortunately access to the eConference is limited to only the individual that purchased registration.
