ALGA Announces CEO Resignation
Association Will Conduct CEO Search; Execution of Strategic Plan Continues
The Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Ltd would like to announce that Elisabethe Dank has advised she is resigning from her role as Chief Executive Officer of ALGA, after 11 years of service.
In her statement to the ALGA Board of Directors, Elisabethe explained her reason for resignation was to focus her future career on her core strengths, being business accounting and financial management.
As part of ALGA’s business continuity procedures, the Board is implementing its plan to actively seek out and recruit a new CEO. Elisabethe will serve as CEO while a suitable replacement is being identified by the Board, and will continue to be supported by the Board, and the existing operations team in the ALGA office. Elisabethe has also offered to contribute to the Board after her departure.
The Board notes that the Association has much to thank Elisabethe for. She has been instrumental in continuing the development of the Association into an influential peak body for the industry with more than 2,300 members. The Board is seeking to continue Elisabethe’s work and to fulfil the Association’s mission: that Australasia be the leader in the sustainable management of contaminated land and groundwater.
