WORKSHOPContaminated Land QA/QC – Value and SignificanceThursday, 15 September 2022 Join us for our workshop and earn 10 CPD points. |
This workshop will explore the background to and need for QA/QC in contaminated land fieldwork and how this should be addressed in technical reports. We will look at setting out the minimum requirements for fieldwork QA/QC (across key media – soil, groundwater and vapour/ground gas). Various practitioners from different parts of the contaminated land industry (e.g. regulators, industry, government agencies, labs, consultant, lawyers, landfill operators, CEnvP) will also explain the value of QA/QC (in their area of work) and how this fits within the context of current NZ guidance.
The ultimate aim of the workshop is to frame the content and application of a New Zealand QA/QC practice note to augment existing contaminated land guidance.
The workshop will appeal to all contaminated land related practitioners:
- Practitioners undertaking investigation work and reporting on contaminated land.
- Practitioners using contaminated land information - land owners, developers, industry practitioners, regulators, government agencies, etc.
