Amy is the Principal Archaeologist and Branch Manager for New Zealand Heritage Properties in Invercargill, working closely with clients across public and private property infrastructure and redevelopment projects. Amy has over 20 years’ experience in archaeology and has an extensive understanding of the legislative requirements for archaeology in Aotearoa, as well as having a special interest in managing archaeological material across disciplines and cultural perspectives.

Lisa is a Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant with over 25 years’ experience of undertaking contaminated land assessments; designing and supervising site investigations, reclamation and remediation projects. She has worked in the fields of contaminated land, geotechnics, and engineering geology across both the UK and New Zealand. For the past 11 years she has been based in Central Otago and leads the national team of contaminated land specialists in the regional business of WSP.

Mike was a late starter in academia, he first attended university in in his early thirties at Massey Palmerston North where he received a BSc, MSc and PhD in Ecology and then began lecturing there in ecology and environmental science in 2003. Mike has developed bioassessment tools used by many Regional Councils and consultants and has published scientific papers in many fields from artificial intelligence and data mining, freshwater fish ecology, freshwater bioassessment to the freshwater ecology of sub-Antarctic islands.

Geoff Cooper has a background in global policy having worked for the United Nations, the United States Treasury and the Federal Reserve. He is a former Chief Economist for Auckland Council, where he worked on infrastructure, housing, regulation and financial policy. More recently, as Chief Economist at PwC, Geoff has contributed to the economic appraisal of a range of large infrastructure projects, including Wellington’s Let’s Get Wellington Moving programme, Auckland Light Rail, Hamilton to Auckland High Speed Rail and Queenstown’s Way to Go programme. Geoff holds a Master of Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Auckland and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University.

Andrea Tuohy has worked at T+T as an environmental scientist for seven years. Her background includes study at Victoria University of Wellington and University of Canterbury in geology and environmental geochemistry. Her PhD looked at reconstructing changes in heavy metals over the last 2000 years from an Antarctic ice core, and atmospheric transport and depositional processes. Lately, she has worked on projects in a variety of areas including contaminated land, landfill environmental management, and climate change risk assessments.

Brendon is a Certified Environmental Practitioner – Site Contamination with over 30 years’ experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation. He is a Director of HAIL Environmental Ltd and is currently based in Tauranga. He is an advocate for in-situ remediation techniques and sustainable management approaches for contaminated land that demonstrate a net environmental and human health benefit. In recent years. He has won several industry awards, including for New Zealand’s largest remediation project, the $21M Kopeopeo Canal project in Whakatāne.
