Andrea Tuohy has worked at T+T as an environmental scientist for seven years. Her background includes study at Victoria University of Wellington and University of Canterbury in geology and environmental geochemistry. Her PhD looked at reconstructing changes in heavy metals over the last 2000 years from an Antarctic ice core, and atmospheric transport and depositional processes. Lately, she has worked on projects in a variety of areas including contaminated land, landfill environmental management, and climate change risk assessments.

Anna is a Principal Environmental Consultant and Otautahi Regional manager with 4Sight Consulting and has been a contaminated land and groundwater professional for over 25 years. She has a broad range of environmental experience, including contaminated land and groundwater assessment and remediation, technical peer review, and risk assessment.

Aslan is an established hydrogeologist with over 13 years’ experience working on large-scale mining, tailings, civil construction, and water resource focused projects. He has specialist groundwater qualifications and skills; including 3D & 2D numerical flow and contaminant/solute transport modelling. Aslan has a successful track record as a technical advisor, expert witness, reviewer, and project manager for groundwater aspects of complex multi-disciplinary consenting and construction projects.

Brendon is a Certified Environmental Practitioner – Site Contamination with over 30 years’ experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation. He is a Director of HAIL Environmental Ltd and is currently based in Tauranga. He is an advocate for in-situ remediation techniques and sustainable management approaches for contaminated land that demonstrate a net environmental and human health benefit. In recent years. He has won several industry awards, including for New Zealand’s largest remediation project, the $21M Kopeopeo Canal project in Whakatāne.

Erin Richards is a Technical Director at Pattle Delamore Partners, with over 20 years’ experience in contaminated land assessments. Over the course of her career, she has worked on hundreds of petroleum sites across the country, which has included conducting soil-gas and indoor air assessments and conducting Tier 2 risk assessments to evaluate the inhalation pathway.

Gus Martins is a Business Manager with HUESKER Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in A wide range of infrastructure projects including environmental and hydraulic areas. Qualified as a Civil engineer and experienced in the development of geosynthetic products to meet market and client needs, Gus also has experience managing interfaces between clients, suppliers, and engineers, understanding technical requirements, qualification processes and manufacturing techniques.

Hollie has a Bachelor of Environmental Management and Planning from Lincoln University and started work in the environmental industry in 2015, specialising in soil contamination work since 2016. Hollie has a passion for remediation work and can often be found bossing a digger operator around, XRF in hand. Hollie is certified via CEnvP (general) certification.

Isobel has been navigating a career in Local Government, Public Health and the regulatory sector in particular, for 33 years and still hasn’t had any time off for good behaviour. This may be because she tends to live the adage that if you can’t be good, be careful! She brings a very broad perspective on risk to the conference from the risk to public health, to the risks of public perception and legal liability.

Kapish is a technology commercialisation specialist in the environmental sector, with projects spanning Europe, Asia, Australasia, and North America. He is positioned at the interface between high quality research and industrial application. Kapish's current and past projects have focused on the implementation of innovative systems for hazardous wastes and waste-to-value initiatives.

Kate Murray is a Senior Associate Environmental Consultant for Jacobs New Zealand and is based out of the Christchurch office. Kate is relatively new to the contaminated land industry in New Zealand with three of her 18 years of industry experience based out of New Zealand, her former 15 years’ experience being centered on industrial waste management and general environmental compliance in South Africa.

Marcus is a Technical Director - Site Contamination at RILEY. He has 25 years’ experience in the contaminated land and closed landfills risk assessment and remediation sector, working for national and local government and the private sector. He has been actively involved in the development and implementation of NZ contaminated land legislation, in particular the National Environmental Standard and Auckland Unitary Plan. Marcus is a founding member of ALGA NZ, and currently sits on the Auckland Branch and Risk Assessment Interest Group steering committees.

Martin Robertson has over 30 years’ experience in contaminated land management and investigation. He spent 12 years as a consultant and the balance in the Petroleum Industry. He is a CEnvP Site Contamination Specialist.

Michael is an Environmental Scientist with experience managing contaminated land, water and air. Additional experience in both the Geotechnical and Hydrogeological project fields. He has a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Otago University (2022).

Nerena is a Technical Director in PDP's contaminated land team. Nerena's experience includes the investigation and management of discharges from contaminated sites associated with construction, industrial and military activities and historic land use. She has significant experience in the investigation and management of PFAS discharges to a variety of media including ground, water and aquatic biota.

Nicola Peacock has been involved in the environmental engineering industry for 29 years, within the stormwater field in early years, and practicing in the contaminated land field for the last thirteen years. Nicola runs her own company, Momentum Environmental Ltd, and has specific interest in the most prevalent contaminants of lead and arsenic, which has often led to curly questions about what, why and how we should deal with the risks associated with these contaminants. Nicola is a Certified Environmental Practitioner.

Nigel is a dedicated environmental professional with 20 years’ experience and a strong focus on delivering high quality and pragmatic advice to clients. Nigel is adept at identifying and quantifying environmental risk and balancing these risks within a commercial setting. Nigel's experience includes contaminated land assessment and remediation, environmental due diligence, and risk assessment (transactional and advisory services), and HSE management systems implementation and auditing.

Paula Stevenson is an Environmental Scientist for Jacobs New Zealand and is based out of the Auckland office. Paula has three and a half years’ experience within the contaminated land and groundwater space working across infrastructure, transport, and private sector projects in both New Zealand and Australia.

Rod Lidgard is a Certified Environmental Practitioner – Site Contamination specialist, father of two, and an innovative thinker. He has comprehensive experience in the contaminated land management environments that NZ offers, and a strong interest in sustainability. Rod wants to drive improvement in 'complete' contaminated site management to achieve whole-of-life sustainable outcomes in our industry.

Samantha is a Senior Environmental Consultant at 4Sight Consulting. She is experienced in both the regulatory and consulting sectors of contaminated land and groundwater management

Sari considers herself to be a Kaipūtaiao o te Whenua, and Senior Environmental Chemist with over 15 years’ experience working with contaminated land (including groundwater) across New Zealand and Australia

Stanley supports the ANZ contaminated land practice at Jacobs. He has spent considerable time on both sides of the Tasman, and in his current day-to-day role he is fortunate to maintain a foot in both the east and west islands. Originally hailing from the US, Stanley offers a unique perspective on international best-practice. Susie Humphrey is an Environmental Scientist and Contaminated Land Service Leader at PDP in Tauranga. Tim is the National Environmental Solutions Manger at Fulton Hogan, a Chartered Chemist and the current Chair of the Wasteminz Contaminated Land Management Sector Group Steering Committee. Tim has been involved in the contaminated land discipline for over 15 years, here in New Zealand and across Europe. Tom is an environmental geologist with 4 years of experience, specialising in contaminated land investigations. As an environmental Geologist, Tom has been involved in numerous contaminated site investigations around the North Island. He has practical experience in a wide variety of contaminated land assessment techniques, including general contaminated site sampling (soil, water, gas, sediment), baseline sampling, delineation sampling and site validation sampling
