Speakers

Alison Reynolds

Allison Reynolds

Senior Environmental Consultant
JBS&G Australia

Allison is a Project Hydrogeochemist and Senior Consultant with the Contaminated Land team in JBS&G’s Sydney office. A scientist with over 9 years’ experience, Allison has been Field Director, Project Manager, Technical Specialist and Project Scientist for an extensive range of site assessment and remediation activities.

Within the contaminated land speciality, Allison’s experience extends across assessment, remediation and monitoring of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and sediment issues. She began her career as a uranium geochemist for the US Department of Energy, focusing on groundwater characterization and remediation at multiple contaminated sites across the United States. In her time overseas, she organized large-scale sampling events and in-depth characterization field and laboratory studies. The collected and historical data allowed for her to develop three-dimensional models of groundwater and soil contamination. Additionally, Allison developed a PFAS investigation and characterization plan for an US Airforce base.

Allison has experience in stakeholder engagement and community outreach. Previously, she has been involved in STEM educational outreach and other engagement projects for the Navajo and Hopi First Nations people. She is confident in speaking with, presenting, and explaining concepts and ideas to clients and collaborators across disciplines.

In her time with JBS&G, Allison has been involved in several projects, assisting with data interpretation, reporting, and sample design. With a passion for learning and service, she is always willing and ready to help with any projects thrown her way. The more challenging the site, the better.
Allison’s key strengths are groundwater volumetric and visualization modelling, site characterization, data interpretation, and communication.
