Dioxins and furans don’t come up often on our contaminated sites, and when they do, the analysis can be expensive. Especially if it has to be re-done to make sure we have the right data for a human health risk assessment (HHRA)…
In this webinar, Ruth will explain when and how to analyse for dioxins, furans and dioxin-like PCBs at a contaminated site, and what to do with the resulting data. This includes making sure you have the right data, number crunching the 2,3,7,8-TCDD TEQ concentration for use in a screening level (tier 1) HHRA, and/or how to pick the appropriate TEQ value from the many options reported by the laboratories.
Please note that the webinar is targeted at those new to the industry or looking for a refresher on Toxic Equivalency Quotient (TEQ) values
