Dr. Bob Symons is the Regional Technical Manager for Eurofins Environment Testing across Australia and New Zealand. With a PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry, he has over two decades of experience in persistent organic pollutants, PFAS and emerging contaminants.
Bob has led the development of commercial microplastics testing methods in Australia and plays a key role in Eurofins’ global PFAS program. He is an active Technical Assessor for ISO/IEC 17025 and has served on NATA’s Life Sciences Advisory Committee, as well as ALGA’s Emerging Contaminants group.
