Geochemical Modelling in Practice: Tools, Concepts, and Case Studies for Environmental Risk Assessment

This workshop provides a practical introduction to geochemical modelling, covering key principles, methods, and applications. Attendees will learn about speciation, reaction path, and reactive transport modelling, and apply these to case studies. The course includes model development, approach selection, and advanced techniques like machine learning. It is ideal for professionals aiming to enhance decision-making, validate data, or explore predictive scenarios. Suitable for both emerging geochemists and senior managers involved in geochemical assessments and project planning.
This workshop is a add-on to ecoforum Brisbane held in Brisbane from 28 to 30 October 2025.
