PFAS contamination continues to present significant challenges for regulators, consultants, and site managers across Australia and New Zealand. This webinar, presented by George “Bud” Ivey, founder of Ivey International Inc., will provide an overview of chemistry-driven approaches for improving PFAS remediation in soil, groundwater, and AFFF systems.
The session will examine the science and field application of PFAS-Sol®, a non-toxic and biodegradable technology developed to enhance PFAS mass removal. Key discussion points will include:
Participants will gain a deeper understanding of current advances in PFAS remediation and how these approaches can be integrated into existing site management programs.

George is an award-winning environmental professional with over 35 years of international remediation experience, having worked on more than 3,500 projects across 70+ countries. He holds over 30 international patents and trademarks. His academic background includes synthetic organic chemistry, geological engineering, and a master’s in project management.
He is the inventor of Ivey-Sol®, DECON-IT®, and, more recently, PFAS-Sol® — patented technologies that have advanced the field of environmental remediation worldwide. Ivey-Sol® pioneered the application of surfactant chemistry to enhance contaminant desorption and in situ remediation; DECON-IT® expanded these solutions into surface and equipment decontamination; and PFAS-Sol® represents his most recent breakthrough. This innovative chemistry uniquely enables PFAS mass removal from soil, bedrock, and groundwater, while also providing an unprecedented capability to decontaminate AFFF fire suppression systems and other impermeable surfaces.
