Maisie graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2022 with a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Science and a BSc in Chemistry. Her honors dissertation investigated accumulation of heavy metals in microplastics in wastewater treatment plants, which contributed to a wider research program known as the Aotearoa Impacts and Mitigation of Microplastics Project.
Since graduating, Maisie has worked as an environmental scientist at Beca. The majority of her work is focused on contaminated land, comprising a mix of desk and field-based site investigations for soil and groundwater quality, for a variety of Beca projects.

Courtney is an Environmental Scientist at GHD, working predominately in the contaminated land sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Environmental Science and a Masters of Environmental Policy and Management.
