Adelaide Branch Event – Torrens River: History, Hydrology, Ecology and Hydrogeology

The culturally significant Torrens River (Karrawirra Pari) flows through the heart of Adelaide. It’s the backdrop to many of Adelaide’s major events, and features in the memories of all of us who grew up or even just spent some time here. Yet how much do we really know about it? Come and hear about the other side of the river – its colonial history and its catchment, hydrology, ecology and management and its ‘friendship’ with groundwater (who feeds who, how and where). You might just start to see the river in a whole new light.
