Statistical Tools for Contaminated Site Characterisation
Two Part Webinar: only part two available.
The use of statistics in environmental investigations can be confusing and provide misleading outcomes, yet this is a critical aspect in the assessment of contaminated land and waste classification. This webinar is aimed at environmental practitioners and regulators to clarify the use of statistics by explaining domain and sampling pattern selection, and describing the various methods involved in data interpretation and validation. The focus is on the fundamental principals involved and how to use the available statistical tools to support more reliable and defensible decision making.
A number of examples and case studies will be used to assist participant in understanding the application of the various tools available.
