PERTH IN PERSON EVENT - Western Australia Work, Health & Safety / Asbestos Industry Update and Current Trends
Faculty of Asbestos Management of Australia and New Zealand (FAMANZ) and ALGA look forward to bring a combined industry event as we work together to promote industry best practice and collaboration.
The new Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022 (WHS Regulations) commenced on the 31 March 2022, bringing the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 into full force along with harmonising WA with Australia’s other states and territories (excluding Victoria). Along with the implementation of the Regulations were several changes which relate to asbestos removal/assessor licencing and asbestos related activities.
This session will provide industry with an overview of the current state of play in Western Australia.
For FAMANZ Members please send an email to events@landandgroundwater.com adding in the subject line ‘’ALGA/FAMANZ Perth Event’’ to get your member rate.
