ONLINE BRANCH EVENT - Contaminated Land Management Guidelines 1 & 5 – amplified perspectives

ONLINE BRANCH EVENT - Contaminated Land Management Guidelines 1 & 5 – amplified perspectives

Does this sound familiar?  It is!  This will be re-boot of the recent event held in Christchurch in an online format, available to our colleagues across NZ and beyond.

The Contaminated Land Management Guidelines (CLMG) 1 & 5 have recently been updated by Ministry for the Environment. The changes have a significant impact on the way practitioners report on and investigate sites, which ultimately requires a change in approach to the way reports are reviewed by the regulator.

This event seeks to highlight the major changes to CLMG 1 & 5 and provide key insights from several perspectives including regulators, practitioners and industry.

The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session with a panel of industry representatives.

Tim is the current chair of the Wasteminz Contaminated Land Sector Group Steering Committee and a Chartered Chemist with the Royal Society of Chemistry.  Recently moving to Fulton Hogan to develop a new service line in Environmental Contracting Tim previously spent 15 years as a contaminated land consultant working across Australasia, Europe and the Near East. As such Tim has been exposed to a variety of methodologies, regulatory environments and market drivers which have shaped his view of delivering meaningful environmental benefit through remedial intervention and proactive preventative measures.
