Membrane Interface Probe and Optical Imaging Probe Technologies - Practical Application Discussion
This presentation will cover the technical functions of MIP & OIP operation and using past experiences discuss how these methods have been successfully used to improve contaminated site projects outcomes and offer tips to project managers that will help them maximise MIP/OIP investigation effectiveness. The session will be split into two parts: a technical presentation and an interactive Q&A session driven by attendees.
About the presenter:
Nick Pannell has 20 years’ experience in contaminated land investigations and remediation. Nick worked for three Environmental consulting firms from 1999 to 2015 specialising in contaminated land project soil and groundwater investigation and remediations. Since 2016 he has been the Managing Director of the Geochem Technologies Pty Ltd partnership bringing MIP, OIP & HPT logging services to the Australian marketplace. Nick has completed US factory training on the operation of MIP & OIP and has 3 years’ experience as an infield equipment operator, making him one of the most experienced HRSC operators in Australia.
