Identifying Preferential GW Flow Paths Using High Resolution Geophysical Methodology (Willowstick)
This presentation discusses the theory and limitations of the Controlled-Source Audio Frequency Domain Magnetic (CSAFDM) technology, commonly known as Willowstick. The potential to utilize this technology to enhance hydrogeological investigations is discussed in this presentation. Two case studies are presented 1.Identifying preferential flow paths & aquifers in Fyansford & Black Rock Sandstone Formations, Cheltenham, Victoria. 2. Identifying seepage flow paths through a tailings dam, Tennessee, USA.
