Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary Wetland Rehabilitation Project

This session will present the environmental and contaminated sites challenges of the ESBS Wetland Rehabilitation including the management of soil acidity, water flows, nutrient removal and flora establishment. It will additionally highlight the policy challenges and solutions being undertaken in the city for better WSUD outcomes.

With a prominent reputation built on delivering strong outcomes on projects of all sizes, Jeremy Maher is a self-described generalist who has skills, knowledge and experience across a broad range of environmental issues including sustainability, wetland remediation, river restoration, catchment management and sustainable urban planning projects. His vision and leadership during the remediation of Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary and Water Sensitive Urban Design in particular, lead to industry wide recognition and facilitated policy changes that resulted in better outcomes for the community and the environment.
