Award 1: Best New Zealand Investigation and Environmental Outcome

Condition of entry: A project finalised within the last 2 calendar years (including the entry submission year) in NEW ZEALAND ONLY.

The Award will go to the entry that in the view of the judges best demonstrates:

a) Overcoming significant environmental, economic & social obstacles & what beneficial outcomes were recognised
b) Practical application of regulatory requirements (Incl WHS)
c) Productive engagement with all project stakeholders
d) Effective communication of new knowledge to the industry
e) An effective approach and exemplary use of appropriate techniques.

Entry information:

1. All entries must address the Award Criteria to the extent practicable and be backed by appropriate quantitative evidence.
2. In the event of joint entries please list all organisations that should be recognised on the Award if successful.
3. Each project submission can be entered to a maximum of two Award categories. If entering an Award in more than one category, the entry must be tailored to match the relevant category's criteria.
4. Please ensure that all your material is clearly labelled with the Award category number/s you would like it to be entered into.
5. Submission and or nomination entry/s are to be sent via the submission portal for distribution to the judges. The entry is to be limited to a maximum of 10,000 characters and up to 10 graphics (e.g. images, diagrams, charts) succinctly covering all the required criteria in the category.
6. The project entries must apply to a project substantially completed during 2021 - 2022.
7. The entry must apply to a project/individual practicing within Australia and/or New Zealand.
