Get Involved

How can YOU get involved?

The success of any Association is reflected in the commitment of its volunteers.

To date, The Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Ltd has an outstanding record (we now have more than 1200 members and our reputation is highly regarded) but we need to maintain and grow on our exisiting achievements. Can you help us to do that in 2016 and beyond?

There are many ways to support the Association, such as contibutions to our quarterly eMagazine (CRONICLE), as well as offering to chair or present at one of our Branch Forums, start an interesting debate on our LinkedIn Group or just provide constructive feedback to help us keep improving.

Do you have what it takes to be an ALGA Director? A key ingredient to continuing the success of ALGA is by having the right people on the team....specifically the right board members. It's those on the Board who establish the direction and the goals that help shape ALGA and it's impact on the industry. For more details click here or contact the Company Secretary.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

ALGA is seeking leaders within our membership who are up for the challenge of establishing new Special Interest Groups.

All you need to do is: identify the topic, find 5 other members from across different sectors of our industry who share your passion, complete the SIG application form, and be prepared to make a difference.

Representative Engagement (REP)

The idea is that ALGA establishes points of contact with other related organisations, industry forums and training providers, to facilitate two-way communication to explore opportunities for mutual benefit.
