ALGA 2018 – Student Night

The Australasian Land and Groundwater Association is hosting a student night on the 9th May 2018 that brings together representatives from academia, environmental consulting, site remediation and private industry.

The theme for the night is ‘Industry Insights: Environmental Sector’

The environmental industry and related sectors have grown in recent years. What does this mean for graduates who are set to enter the workforce? ALGA is hosting a night for all environmental and environment-related students to hear short presentations from experts working in a broad range of disciplines including research, consultancy, site remediation and waste management. Speakers will be of different background and levels and will share their own career journey on how they got to where they are, how their roles have changed overtime and what tips they would give their “younger selves”. Pizzas and drinks provided.
